Faculty & Staff

Erika - Canine Education Instructor/Director of Student Affairs

Erika is the lead Canine Education Instructor at the College. With 8 years of dog training experience, and having helping thousands of dogs and their families via Tyson's Corner Animal Rescue, we are thrilled that she is teaching with us here at k9CC. Erika teaches both our Puppy 101 and Graduate level advanced classes, and is also available for private tutoring, should your shinning student need it.

Benji - Canine Education Training Assistant / Lead Dog Wrangler

Benji assists with the general operation of the College, along with helping out in obedience classes, and taking care of various duties that need to be done. Benji's experience comes from having moved his way up the academic chain here at K9CC, and he will taking on classes of his own in the near future.

Cheyanne - Assistant Dog Wrangler

Cheyanne assists with general operation of day camp; training dogs, managing activities, and maintaining facilities. She is also a friendly face assisting owners when they come to pick up their furry loved ones.

Kevin - Professional Canine Petographer
www.KJMStudios.com

Kevin Meadowcroft is our on-site professional petographer, working exclusively for the school. His pet portraits can be seen via our web, and appointments can be scheduled as needed. We are so excited to be able to call him part of our team. Petography sessions are also scheduled at open houses, special events, and graduations.

Truman - Student Ambassador

Meet Truman, ambassador of student relations, this mighty beast towers over even the largest of students (but don't tell him that) He is convinced he should be playing with the other dogs his size, also known as the "toy breeds". Truman is here to meet and greet with all the new students and their parents, and cheer up those that may become homesick in their first few days at school.

Tyson - Resident Manager/Daycare & Boarding

Tyson can be seen on all things K9CC as he is not only the manager, but also the mascot. Ty has 5 years of dog training experience, as a foster brother to so many misplaced pups. Ty spends most of his days regulating the on goings of the bark park, and making sure no dog is where he should not be. He also works one on one with any overly dominant or aggressive dogs, and makes sure they know they really are here to have a howling good time.

Serendipity - Officer of Student Relations

Serendipity is our chief officer of student relations.  The most non-judgmental and unbiased of all, don't let her blindness and deafness fool you.  She makes everyone here at the school feel welcome and comfortable in their surroundings.  Even our most anti social furry friends are calmed by this gentle giant.
